This application is for those individuals who are currently engaged full-time as a yacht broker or salesperson within the past 12-months and who have a minimum of two-years’ experience during which time they have followed the stated certification requirements.
Certification Requirements: Certification requirements apply to both the candidate, and, if applicable, the company with whom they are currently affiliated. Please select "Yes" next to each requirement as an attestation of compliance – select "No" if you cannot legally attest to this requirement.
References: You must provide a total of three references: two references should be individuals who are CPYB certified and can attest to your eligibility. The third reference should be the Principal of the Brokerage where you are currently employed. At least one of your CPYB references must be affiliated with a company other than your own. It is recommended you notify your references that they will be contacted by the CPYB office.
Exam Fee: The exam fee covers your first exam attempt. Should you need a retake the fee will be $99 per retake, you may retake the exam up to 3 times in year.
